We are happy to offer this gorgeous vintage dress and jacket ensemble designed by Gustave Tassell for Norman Norell.  Though the jacket has the NORELL label, the dress has the rare Norell Tassell label.

This 3 piece ensemble includes a sleeveless dress, an open front jacket and a gold sequin belt. The dress is has a beautiful gold sequin bodice with a high neck that is perfectly embellished with black trim and rows of rhinestones. The skirt of the dress is black crepe and the dress closes with a back zipper.

The jacket is completely covered in shimmering gold sequins and trimmed with the same rhinestones as the bodice of the dress. This jacket is lined with Norell's signature, perfectly tailored lining.

We estimate this dress to fit a modern day US size 6 but we encourage our customers to always refer to the measurements for the best fit.

This woman came from a family fashion dynasty. She and her mother would regularly visit New York so that the two of them could see Norell's latest collections and so that their dresses could be fitted by Norell himself.
